Overview of Setagaya Public Theatre (main theater)
"Setagaya Public Theatre" is a theater for performing arts such as music, with a focus on drama and dance.The theater has about 600 seats (basic shape), and the shape changes into two patterns depending on the variable equipment. frame-shaped stage called a proscenium style, and the other is an open stage with no boundaries between the audience and the stage, with the image of a Greek outdoor theater or traditional Asian theater space.Equipped with high-level functions and equipment to support a wide variety of performing arts plans.

| Composition of the stage mechanism | The stage floor mechanism consists of the main stage approach, the front stage approach, the flat floor approach, and the audience seating steps.In particular, the mechanism that can change the angle of the tiered floor of the audience seats to any position is an attempt unique to this theater.Another feature is the split and removable light bridge, which allows you to freely set the hanging position and prepare lighting according to the stage art and acting area.When not in use, it can be put away in the wings of the stage to create an unrestricted and free stage space.This attempt is also unique.Since it uses a hydraulic system, it can be operated smoothly from ultra-low speed to high speed with low noise. |

| Lighting equipment | Equipped with three bridges on the main stage side, the suspension position can be moved or removed according to the needs of the production and stage art plan.On the sides of the stage, there are four sidelight batons for upper and lower hands.There are three batons on the rear stage side, and a point suspension device on the front stage side that can be installed with a special temporary truss, which can easily supply the load circuit.The load circuits on the stage floor are installed on the walls, except for the LH circuit, so that the stage equipment can be moved smoothly and the steps can be set freely. |
| Audio equipment | In order to enhance the function of sound effect reproduction, we have introduced a full digital sound control console that can easily store and reproduce scenes.It is fully functional as a loudspeaker desk (SR desk) and as an effect desk (SE desk) for theatrical performances. |
