Setagaya Public Theatre (SePT) began its all-ages Jazz for Kids series in 2005, and now it is proud to present the final installment in that series!
Featuring live performances by Japan’s top jazz musicians!
SePT presents a jazz fan’s dream concert, featuring performances by world-renowned trumpeter Terumasa Hino and a group of jazz musicians hand-picked by Hino himself.
This event features performances by Hino himself, Hideaki Kanazawa (bass), Akira Ishii (piano), Seiji Tada (sax), and others. This impressive group of highly talented musicians operate on the cutting edge of jazz performance. They have collaborated with musical artists from around the world and released countless albums. These performers are sure to present a dynamic jazz session that will bring down the house.
This concert will also feature performances by graduates of Dream Jazz Band Workshop, a program that ran in parallel to SePT’s Jazz for Kids series. You’re sure to love these performances by up-and-coming pros like trumpeter Ken Shinozaki, trombonist Natsuki Watanabe, and jazz pianist Yusei Takahashi, who was selected to perform in Hino’s own jazz band.

Childcare Service
A childcare service is normally available for performances for which advance tickets are sold.
However, as capacity is limited, use of childcare service is by reservation only.

You may reserve childcare services up to noon of the day 3 days before the desired reservation time, but when the number of children registered reaches capacity, applications will closed.
So please make your reservation well in advance.
Also, please consult with the theatre regarding children with special needs.
Wheelchair Spaces
Both Setagaya Public Theatre and Theatre Tram are equipped with wheelchair spaces to allow visitors to watch performances from their wheelchairs. However, as capacity is limited, use of wheelchair spaces is by reservation only. So please make your reservation well in advance.
