Measures to Prevent the Spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) at Setagaya Public Theatre (Updated 11/21)

The Setagaya Public Theatre and Theatre Tram are implementing the following measures to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation with these measures that will create a safer theatre experience for everyone.

 


 

In accordance with SePT’s public health guidelines, Setagaya Public Theatre and Theatre Tram are implementing the following measures to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19)

 

・Disinfectant will be provided in locations throughout the theatre, and medicinal soap will be available in the restrooms.

・Antiviral coating is applied to surfaces in areas frequently used by patrons, including audience seating areas, lobbies, and lavatories.

・Staff members will wear masks during all interactions with patrons.

・Seating arrangements will provide a sufficient gap between the stage and audience seating.

・We will ensure that the theatre ventilation system continues to be in proper working order.

 


 

 

【We reserve the right to refuse entry to any patrons who meet any of the following conditions】

・Patrons experiencing fever (37.5°C or higher) or cold symptoms, patrons with symptoms including the loss of taste or smell, and patrons who are not feeling well.

・Patrons who are not wearing a mask.

・Patrons who have been in close contact with anyone who has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

・In order to avoid crowding, when it is time to leave and enter the theatre, there may be limits on how many patrons may enter or leave at once.

・Patrons who have travelled to regions or countries where infection is spreading rapidly within 1 week prior to the date of the event they are attending.

【Procedures for entering the theatre】

・Be sure to bring your ticket with you to the theatre.

・The lobby may become crowded immediately before the start of a performance. Please arrive early.

・We will escort patrons who arrive after the start of a performance to seating in the back of the theatre.

・We cannot store your personal belongings. Please try to bring as little as possible to the theatre.
