Born blind as a result of the fate of his parents, he did everything he could to steal, threaten, murder, and do evil, reaching Kengyo, the highest rank for the blind in Edo.This is the life story of the rare great villain, Sugi no Ichi, who later became the second Yabuhara Kengyo.
This work, which will be performed as the 77th installment of "Hisashi Inoue's birth 2012 festival 4", is a masterpiece villain story that has been praised both in Japan and around the world since its premiere in 1973.

With a diverse cast including Kyogen performer Mansai Nomura, director Tamiya Kuriyama, and staff who know everything about Inoue's theater, this is the definitive version.The highest peak of tragicomedy that unfolds in the rhythm of the guitar reminiscent of the Tsugaru Shamisen and the narration of blind Tayu is now revived!
