Mansai Nomura has lead Setagaya Public Theatre (SePT) as its Artistic Director for 20 years. Mansai has placed an emphasis on work that blends modern and classical theatre, including in his own productions of numerous works by Shakespeare. For this performance, Mansai presents a new entry in the SePT Play-Reading Programme featuring excerpts from Hamlet, one of the great works of classical theatre that also became a turning point for Mansai himself.
