Overview

The stage "ART" premiered at the Champs Elysees Theater in Paris in 1994 and was praised as a superb comedy.In the same year, it won the Moliere Award for Best Film. In 96, it premiered in the West End and won the Olivier Award for Best New Comedy.It also opened on Broadway in 98 and received rave reviews around the world, including winning the Tony Award for Best Film.

Eriko Ogawa's version of "ART", which was performed in March and April 2020, was forced to be canceled due to unfulfilled ambitions, but after three years, the same cast and staff have gathered again!We will finally start.Please look forward to the non-stop comedy "ART"!

OUR STORY

Marc, Serge, and Ivan have been best friends for 15 years.One day, Serge bought an expensive modern art painting.For Serge, who is a dermatologist and a hobbyist of modern art, this is a work he is proud of.A picture of a white background with diagonal white lines.However, Marc, who thought he would be happy with her, just made a strange face.A strange misunderstanding arises in the conversation between the two...

On the other hand, for Ivan, who is about to get married, this friendship is more important than anything else.As a result, the three try to manage their relationship, but the harder they try, the stranger the conversation becomes.As the relationship escalates, the three realize that what they really want from each other is completely different.He tries to repair the relationship, but things take an unexpected turn.
