“Feast/SYMPOSION”

In July 2024, we will welcome up-and-coming artist Romance Hashimoto to perform ``Feast/SYMPOSION''. Hashimoto has been familiar with the stage since childhood, and after studying contemporary art, majored in physical expression arts at university, and began his career as a performer, director, and choreographer. His works born from his keen sensibility have been highly praised, and he has won the SICF7 PLAY Grand Prix (20), Yokohama Dance Collection 19 Grand Prize New Choreographer Award (2020), and the 20th Japan Dance Forum Award (16). Awarded. He was also selected as Asahi Shimbun's Best Dance Work of the Year (21) and Monthly Dance Magazine's ``Most Impressive Choreographer'' (21).

Innovations include ``Devil Dance'' (21), which illuminates the images of ``Faust'' and ``Dance of Death'' in a society affected by the coronavirus, and ``Pan'' (21, 23), which reflects the frustration of young people living in Tokyo. He energetically presents works that capture modern society from a cultural perspective.
