Past efforts

Since 2020, we have developed programs in partnership with various facilities and non-profit organizations in the city.We would like to introduce some of the initiatives we have taken so far for your reference.

"Anyone's expression club, paradise"

Partners: Setagaya Ward Council of Social Welfare, Shimouma Anshin Sukoyaka Center, members of the neighborhood association, etc.

We received consultations from welfare corporations in the Shimouma area, who are aware of the problem of the increasing number of people living in isolation due to the aging of residents in the Shimouma area. The aim was to create a place where people could easily interact with each other.

Implementation period: From November 2020 (about once a month)
Target: Elderly people living in the Shimomanozawa district
Message: We set the content so that people who gathered while doing crafts such as sugoroku, rakes, kaleidoscopes, monkiri, and picture book making can share their thoughts and lives.

"Everyone's Photography Club, Gokuraku"

Partners: Setagaya Ward Council of Social Welfare, Shimouma Anshin Sukoyaka Center, members of the neighborhood association, etc.

In response to the problem that there is no place for men who have retired to casually gather and communicate with others, we planned to create a place where they can gather with the keyword "photography".

Implementation period: From November 2020 (about once a month)
Target: Elderly people living in the Shimomanozawa district
Message: Started a club centered on "photography" as a form that men can easily participate in.Together with professional photographer Shingo Kanagawa, we got to know each other while talking about various things related to photography.

"Paradise Festival '21"

Partners: Setagaya Ward Council of Social Welfare, Shimouma Anshin Sukoyaka Center, members of the neighborhood association, etc.

Residents of the Shimouma area are aging, and the number of isolated people is increasing. In light of the issues of intergenerational exchanges not progressing, we will focus on the elderly and their families, supporters, and local communities. With the goal of building loose connections with people, seven welfare corporations and others in the Shimouma area worked together to plan a festival where everyone could come together.

Implementation period: September 2021th and 9th, 4
Target: Residents of Shimouma district
Message: From the moment we are born, we all live towards death. This art project was launched to think about how to live the life facing death together with the people living in Shimouma.Taking advantage of the characteristics of the groups and organizations involved, we planned a rich variety of programs, including participatory theater, storytelling, shops, and consultation corners.

"Children's Expression Club Gokuraku 'Becoming Santa and Delivering a Party!'"

The neighborhood association, which felt that there were few opportunities for interaction between the elderly and children in the community, consulted us about creating a place for interaction that transcends generations. I made a place to appreciate.

Implementation period: September 2020
Target: Children (3rd to 6th graders at Komatsunagi Elementary School and Nakazato Elementary School)
Message: Aiming at interaction between local children and the elderly, the children created a Christmas play and performed it to the elderly.
