Profile

Daniel Agami

Daniel Agami (choreographer/dancer)

Originally from Israel. After she graduated from the prestigious Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, she joined the Batsheva Dance Company, where she worked as a dancer and rehearsal director. She came to the United States as a senior manager at GAGA Method. She founded her own company “Ate2012” in 9. Based in LA, she has presented numerous works, and was selected as one of the top 25 choreographers not to be missed by Dance Magazine. He has contributed works to Batsheva Ensemble, Northwest Dance Project, Barak Ballet, Visseral Dance, etc., as well as the English National Opera's ``Orphée'' (composed by Philip Glass) and the LA Philharmonic's ``Atlas'' (composed by Meredith Monk). In charge of the choreography. Her unique, experimental and dynamic productions are attracting attention both in the United States and abroad. She won the Grand Prix at the McCallum Theater Choreography Festival in California and the Princess Grace Award from the Princely Palace of Monaco. She is a “Virginia B. Toulmin” Fellow.
