At the "Setagaya Public Theater New Artistic Director Appointment Event -Thinking about the Role of Artistic Directors in Public Theaters-" held in April of this year, current artistic directors of public theaters frankly discussed the state of the art director system and issues. The second public talk event was held on September 4th at the Sainokuni Saitama Arts Theater Video Hall.

Continuing from last time, Akira Shirai, Artistic Director of Setagaya Public Theater, Ryohei Kondo, and Keishi Nagatsuka gathered together, Eriko Ogawa as an observer, and Ms. Momoko Shirakami, Artistic Director of Fujimi Civic Cultural Center Kirari☆Fujimi, as guests. An event report on the day's discussion on the theme of "Thinking about public theaters and regional characteristics" was released.
