"Setagaya Public Theater Dance Cafeteria" aims to be a place where you can enjoy dance from various angles by inviting members of our familiar dance company.
The companies that will serve as restaurant owners this year are Sankai Juku, Kota Yamazaki, and Makoto Club.We will develop a fun plan like a set meal, which is a set of talks and workshops.
There are many variations of dance.For those of you who still don't understand dance and still don't like it, why not try a new taste at the dance cafeteria?You may become addicted to this taste with many secret spices!

Kouta Yamazaki 
Studied butoh under Akira Kasai and ballet under Hirofumi Inoue. From 1995 to 2001, he presided over the Tokyo-based rosy Co and performed numerous concerts both in Japan and abroad.She collaborated with architect Toyo Ito and others and performed at Theater Cocoon and other venues. Since 2001, she has moved to New York and runs Kota Yamazaki / Fluid hug-hug. BAM (NY), EMPAC (NY), Arizona State University (AZ), Miami Light Project (FL), Chicago Columbia College Dance Center (IL), PICA/TBA Festival (OR), Melbourne International Festival (Australia), Dance Theater Workshop (NY), The Painted Bride Arts Center (PA), Danspaceproject (NY), Japan Society (NY), etc.She is currently a guest lecturer at Bennington College. In 07 she won the NY Dance Performance Award (Bessie Award). (glowing) North American tour from 2012 to 13.New OQ 2015-16 North American tour. 2007 NY Dance Performance Award (Bessie Award). Received the Foundation for Contemporary Arts Award in 2013. Representative of Body Arts Laboratory since 2008.
