"Until the stage art of 'Atsushi Sangetsu-Meijinden' is completed"

A stage designer who reads a play, discusses it with the director, builds up small invisible fragments of words and images, and creates space on the stage.
The stage designer plays a very important role in creating a wonderful performing arts work.
In this lecture on the performance, Ms. Rumi Matsui, who is currently the most active stage designer, will talk about the process of creating the stage art for "Atsushi? I will approach from a different angle.

Graduated from Tama Art University.He moved to England after working with Shiki Theater Company.After returning to Japan, she started working as a stage designer. 2000 Yomiuri Theater Award Excellent Staff Award, 01 Novi Sad International Arts Festival Stage Art Jury Special Award, 02 Kinokuniya Drama Award Individual Award, Yomiuri Theater Award Best Staff Award, Kisaku Ito Award.
In 04, he made his Broadway debut in Pacific Overtures. Nominated for Best Scenic Design of a Musical at the 05th Tony Awards in 59.His major works include "Pitchfork Disney", "Fantastics", "Father Returns" and many others.
