At the end of winter two years ago, "Neeanta" was quietly performed at a studio in Morishita, downtown Tokyo.Legendary dancer Kota Yamazaki, who moved to New York, faced the stage head-on in Japan for the first time in a while.Yamazaki's unparalleled dance, backed by outstanding technique, surpasses technique.And the voice and body of Tomoko Ando, ​​who continues to develop radically from the legendary girl in Shogo Ota's "Water Station" to the present day.The performance of the two at ARICA, which has developed a one-of-a-kind theatrical performance, was deeply etched in the memories of those who attended.
This autumn, the work that will evolve deeply will have a big impact on the way dance and theater are once again called "Ne ANTA".
