"Nihon Bungaku Theater Vol. 2" is a series of plays written with respect for modern literature by So Kitamura, a playwright representing modern Japanese theater.
Following on from his previous work "Goodbye," which won the 17th Tsuruya Namboku Drama Award, this new work is an original play based on Natsume Soseki's early masterpiece "Kusamakura."
The original is famous for the line “If you work with wisdom, you will stand up. , who do you meet?What kind of fate will the heroine Nami (Kyoko Koizumi) follow?
Guided by Sou Kitamura's freewheeling ideas, a new "Kusamakura" develops lightly!
