The work of Lebanese-born playwright Wajdi Mwawad, who is now attracting attention from around the world, will be directed by Satoshi Uemura, a young Japanese director who has been remarkably successful. "Flame" is a suspenseful and shocking work that unravels the sealed roots of his own family from the unique perspective of the author, who experienced the civil war in Beirut and fled.It depicts the great love of a mother who continues to think of her child. It was made into a movie under the title of Burning Soul (Japanese title), and was nominated for the 2011 Academy Award for Best Foreign Film. , It is full of mysterious charm that is somewhat reminiscent of the Greek tragedy "Oedipus Rex".
