"Contemporary Nogakushu" aims to fuse the narrative and style of Noh with contemporary theater.This series was planned and supervised by the theater's artistic director, Mansai Nomura, and has been well received every time.This time, which is the 5th installment, we will send it in three parts: "Shundokumaru", "Shunkan-san", and "Ai no Kodou".
Tsuyoshi Kawamura, who was in charge of the first work in the series, "AOI/KOMACHI," wrote the play.His daring imagination, his ability to read history, and his sharp point of view that captures the present day are fully demonstrated in this work.Directed by Yutaka Kuramochi of Penguin Pull Pale Piles.Expectations are rising as to how Kuramochi, who highlights the subtleties of the delicate human heart, will launch Kawamura's play.
