Since its formation in 1981, Kodo has been active internationally, performing in 46 countries around the world under the theme of One Earth, based in Sado Island, Niigata Prefecture.
Kabuki actor Tamasaburo Bando, who has been working with Kodo since 2001 and directed Kodo's stage play for the first time in 2003, will be planning "Utsuo" with the elite members of the powerful Kodo special formation.Through the well-trained bodies of each member, we will create a new stage by adding playfulness to each individuality, concentration, and instantaneous power.
