Terumasa Hino, a jazz trumpeter active in Japan and abroad.It is a concert that heats up the theater with a jazz stage by musicians led by him.
Jazz for Kids, now in its 4th year, will feature live performances by the Terumasa Hino Quintet on the first day, bringing you closer to the appeal of jazz.
On the second day, we will deliver a session and live performance by the Dream Jazz Band formed by junior high school students in Setagaya Ward and professional musicians.

*Dream Jazz Band [Experience-based learning project "Dream Jazz Band Workshop" (sponsored by the Setagaya Ward Board of Education) that provides opportunities to experience pioneering and advanced learning and activities that are not normally accessible. ], a junior high school jazz band formed by Terumasa Hino, who serves as the principal.You can experience all the charm of music, not just playing techniques.

<Profile> Terumasa Hino [Hino Terumasa] (Jazz Trumpeter)
Born in Tokyo in 42. He started playing the trumpet at the age of 9, and by the time he was 12, he was in a dance band at a U.S. military camp. After releasing the leader album at the beginning of 67, it gained popularity and released albums both in Japan and overseas, and developed live performances. In 02, he received the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award for Art Encouragement in the Popular Performing Arts category, in 04 he received the Medal with Purple Ribbon, and in the same year he received the Agency for Cultural Affairs Art Festival Award for Excellence in the movie music for the film Translucent Tree.In addition to live performances, he is also energetically engaged in charity activities and teaching younger generations.
