"Ningyohime" is produced by Teresa Ludovico, the scriptwriter and director of the Italian theater company Teatro Kismet.This upgraded version will return to the Setagaya Public Theater!
A mermaid who lives at the bottom of the deep sea.The day she went out to sea for the first time, she met and fell in love with a beautiful prince."A prince cannot live in water, a mermaid cannot live on earth."The little mermaid asks the sea witch to exchange her tail and beautiful voice for her two legs and heads to the prince's palace...
Ningyo Hime directly appeals to our hearts with the various emotions that Ningyo Hime learns by encountering things different from her: confusion, admiration, joy, love, hatred, anger, and sadness.
